Wrexham confirmed on Thursday that Davis Keillor-Dunn has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until January 2027, subject to international clearance and registrations. Wrexham posted the same line on the club's official account. The club calls him 29 and says he has made eight appearances since returning in February. BBC Sport put this season at two.
Why Wrexham let him go
Phil Parkinson said Sheffield Wednesday approached Wrexham for Keillor-Dunn. "We just thought that with our recent signings, we were able to let him go and get him playing again, at a club with a good chance of getting promoted," the manager said. This is Keillor-Dunn's second spell at Wrexham. The first was in 2020. Wrexham list Ross County, Falkirk, Oldham Athletic, Burton Albion, Mansfield Town and Barnsley before the February return. The club says he heads back to Yorkshire to help Sheffield Wednesday gain promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking.
